Day 1. Welcome To Costa Rica
After arrival at San Jose Airport, a professional representative comes to you and he or she will clarify your any query regarding schedule of your tour. Optional and depending on arrival time: City tour: Visit: San Jose, University of Costa Rica, San Pedro, main buildings such as National Museum, National Teather, Congress, Yellow House, Plaza de la Cultura, Museum of Gold, etc. residential areas and main shopping centers. Then go for dinner at your own choice.
2nd day. La Paz Waterfalls Poas Volcano And National Park (B, L, D)
As they climb up to the Poás volcano, they notice a change in temperature and vegetation; along the way they will see coffee plantations as well as ferns, flower and strawberry farms that create a beautiful landscape. There are two crater lakes. The northern lake is known as Laguna Caliente (“hot lagoon”) and is located at an altitude of 2,300 m in a crater approximately 1.7 km wide and 290–300 m deep. In the world this is the most acidic lakes. Acidity changes after rain and changes in volcanic activity, sometimes reaching a pH of almost 0; as a result, it supports little or no aquatic life.
Acid gases create acid rain and acid fog that damage surrounding ecosystems and often irritate the eyes and lungs. Lake Botos, the southern lake, fills an inactive crater that last erupted in 7500 BC. It is cool and clear and surrounded by a cloud forest located in the Poás Volcano National Park.
After visiting the volcano, they will continue to La Paz Waterfall Gardens for lunch and a tour. Upon arrival in La Paz, they will walk along a trail that leads to a spectacular waterfall in the middle of the rainforest. At La Paz Waterfalls Gradens, you’ll have great time learning all about Costa Rica’s rich biodiversity with our naturalist guide.
3rd day. Iraz Volcano National Park (B, L, D)

Irazú Volcano National Park is a national park in the Central Volcanic Protected Area of Costa Rica. The volcano is still active, although the last major eruptions were between 1963 and 1965, with occasional minor eruptions and several small lava flows since then.
Crater Principal Lake has an unusual green-yellow coloration caused by rain dissolving minerals along the crater walls.
